After several weeks editing, myself and Alex have completed a rough cut of our music video which we have already posted onto this blog. Initially, we experienced difficulties during the editing process. To our dismay we found that we didn't have enough footage so we had to complete an extra day of filming alongside the two days we had already designated for filming.
Also, we wanted to create a video montage of our location, so we went out on location and took many photographs which we will include in a later post. We used these pictures in quick cuts to break up the footage and show off our location.
From the start of the project, we have visualized an entirely black and white video and feel that our rough cut is effective but in our final version we plan to use the 'Pleasantville Effect' to add contrast to key scenes. Also we will play around with the contrast and the colour of the film so that certain areas of the frame stand out.
